Puppies at 3 months of age

Misty is now 3 months of age -- sister Isabella has left home to live as an adored pet with a family in Santa Cruz, CA.  Misty is a "puppy hopeful" that is being watched for her "show potential".  Misty is now "full of the devil" and loves to play -- she carries around on all sorts of toys and loves to sneak paper towels from the waste paper basket and empty toilet paper rolls are a much loved toy.  One of her other favorite games is "catch me if you can"!!  Her hair has grown long enough that she will start having the hair on the top of her head placed in a rubber band.  Misty needs to be regularly brushed to keep her coat free of matts and a weekly bath keeps her clean.  She has a tiny bit of facial staining that comes from teething, but with daily face cleaning this should disappear soon.  Her puppy teeth are fully in.  Part of her training now includes house training to "use papers" as well as the outdoor exercise area for the "big dogs".  She is also learning to walk on a lead as well as stand on a table for examination.
