Maltese Puppy at 5 months of age

Hi all . . . well I am now 5 months old.  I'm still a very playful little puppy. I love to run around and play with my toys.  I've gained a little more weight -- I now weight about 3 1/2 pounds.  I've started my show dog training -- and yes, I now like to walk on a lead.  It's really neat.  Mom took me with to a dog show where she was showing my half-brother Toy Tycoon.  After he was done showing I got to walk all over the show grounds.  So many people stopped to play with me and admire me.  Isn't all this attention great!!!  See I told you walking on a lead was not so bad.  I've also been learning to stand on the table so a judge can look at my conformation.  I've started loosing my puppy teeth -- I've lost 8 of my front teeth so far -- 4 on top and 4 on bottom.  I put them under my bed and wished for the good fairy to "make me a champion".  Since I'm teething my face hurts some and it makes my eyes water.  It also causes a little stain in my face so I get my face washed a whole bunch, but my face is still a little brownish like in the picture.  But mom says that when all my teeth are in this will get better.  I had my pictures taken a little late this month as mom was waiting to get her new digital camera -- a Ricoh -- with a whole bunch of pixels, whatever they are.  I do take nice pictures with the new camera, don't I.  Next month -- my 6 month old birthday -- I will be in Florida.  I hear I am going to a Maltese Specialty Show -- whatever that is.  I will bring some pictures back so I can show you.
